Inspired by Hummus. Created as Congmus.
Hummus showed the world that beans can be delicious, versatile, and convenient.
Inspired by this idea, we wondered;
"What if we created a spread based on Korean beans and our own culinary traditions?"
Rather than replicating hummus, we developed a unique recipe
using Korean soybeans, white kidney beans, and cashews.
The result is a soother, richer spread with its own character and flavor profile.
Because it is neither hummus nor a traditional bean paste,
we created a new name for it:
Congmus.
Cong[Kong] means bean in Korean,
and Mus comes from mousse, reflecting its smooth and creamy texture.
A new way to enjoy beans - rooted in Korea, inspired by global food culture.
Not hummus. Not bean paste. Congmus.
